This Uniport 6000 for MultiCam is ready for shipment to the USA. The factory acceptance test for the CNC machining center has been successfully completed last week.
Since 2006, MultiCam has been operating already a Uniport 6000 to their full satisfaction. The new Uniport 6000 is a valuable addition to their manufacturing capabilities offering their customers highest quality and accuracy.

Founded in 1989, MultiCam proudly served the global manufacturing industry for over 30 years, delivering high-quality Made-in-America products using American made steel, components, and people. MultiCam has delivered over 13,750 machines, each made to order and built to last out of their manufacturing facility in the heart of Dallas, Texas. MultiCam provides support to their global customers using a network of sales, service and process application experts, including 60 locations worldwide with 20 Technology Centers across North America.

The Uniport 6000 offers Multicam a truly productive machining centre. Able to handle multiple operations in a compact footprint.
Main features of this portal CNC machining centre:
– X = 8,000; Y = 4,000; Z = 1,000 mm
– Main drive with gearbox 36 kW / 6,000 rpm / 720 Nm
– Siemens 840D-sl control with hand wheel
– Angled head with 6,000 rpm in pick-up station on the column
In addition, the machine is executed upwards compatible with the existing machine, so that existing CNC programs can be used error-free on the new CNC machining centre.
