The premiere for the first successful 2024 factory acceptance test is for MAN Energy Solutions! Last week we welcomed visitors from Switzerland for the factory test of this multi-task machining centre, the UNICOM6000.
At MAN Energy Solutions in Zürich, they develop and manufacture high-tech compression systems. These innovative compressors are used in:
• large-scale heat pumps for district heating and industries
• gas pipelines, gas storage and subsea gas applications
• the pulp and paper industry
• air separation plants
• the exploration and production of chemicals
The UNICOM machine will be used for machining compressor parts. It combines quality and productivity. The automatic pallet changer reduces loading times and ensures a high uptime to boost productivity. Even with its focus on output, this UNICOM6000 makes no compromise on accuracy.
